*Spoilers for silent hill 2 ahead*

You are the one who made me in the image of yourself

_{Silent Hill 2 is one of the most influential games for me, it was one of the first main stream games to show that games can be more than a generic adventure story with some action between. It's plot is one of the most shocking if you've never played it, and it never fails to make me sniffle. I will never forgive konami for ruining the HD version of it T_T

This picture never happens in game, but it's sort of representative of how the characters act. If you have ever played the game you will know that Pyramid Head is Silent Hill's projection of Jame's guilt, it plays out the things he feels ashamed of and it plays out the thing he did to Mary via Maria over and over. When he finally comes to terms with what he did, that's when PH finally kills him(them)self to symbolize his acceptance. It's also why PH's appearance in the MOVIE is super stupid. Just, really stupid. He's scary yes, but he loses all meaning in the movie ~o~

Okaaay this has been sitting around for a while now too, I didn't upload it sooner cause I'm just not in love with it, both the face angles are really hard for me, i had to redo them a lot and change styles a lot. They seem passable now XDD. Still there's not much SH2 fanart out there so I'm still pleased with it @o@

I hope fans of the game will like it! I'm going to sell this as a 8x12 (or maybe 8x11?) print at Fanime and Otakon this year

Note on Critique: Feel free to give, but I don't think i can fix much on this one because it's just.. like I see a lot of the problems already and I just do not have the ability to fix them, esp regarding the faces. I would literally need a redline or a repaint to fix, otherwise there's no point in just telling me it looks off cause i already know that XD. Otherwise yes, you know C&C is accepted

not to mention the movie PH had totally different helmet. It was just stupid fanservice.

BTW i still dont get why there was 2 PHs in the end.

Very Symbolic, Pyramid Head is simply a punisher for those who cannot accept their sins or bad things they had done. In other words, Pyramid Head is a entity of James' dark side. Either Pyramid Head has to kill James, giving him punishment for Mary's death or help James accept what he's done. That is the role of Pyramid Head, to make them accept for what they've done. Just like how Pyramid Head made James' accept his responsibility for Mary's death.
