This is not a tutorial! I am not a shoe maker! I do not design shoes for a living! DO NOT COPY THESE, I don't know what I am doing! If you have problems DRAWING heels, i HIGHLY recommend you look up photos! Most shoe stores online organize their shoes by heel height already, easy peasy boys and girls!
Here's a great example!

There are lots of things i didn't cover, like you must walk heel to toe or your shoes are no good. But if you must run for an emergency always run toe to toe unless you're in a low or sufficiently chunky heel. Better just avoid situations with running if you're in tall heels really.

This is just quick messy ugly chart of things I thought about in college regarding shoes. I kind of really got into heels then, because i realized that liking "girly" stuff didn't lessen my nerd cred (Yes, you can like girly things AND nerdy things, human brains are not limited to liking only one type of thing, DURRRR).

Anyway, i just gotta say lots of professional people design really dumb ass shoes for their characters. No doubt they have never worn heels in their life or they would stop that.

Haha I just don't like labelling anything like this as a tutorial because I don't believe in copying people's drawings, you will just copy their mistakes XD!

and I didn't know that! I have smaller feet myself. I will say that it's harder to find shoes period when you have much larger (or smaller) feet unfortunately, combined with the recent trend of only flats or extreme heels, i can see how it would be even harder for you :(. I really wish there were more 1-3" heels out there for everyone, this trend of super tall heels is kind of annoying because it becomes the ONLY option!

That's a good policy. If you can recognize other people's mistakes and just use their strong points for reference it could work, but if your talented enough to do that you probably wouldn't need tutorials in the first place!

Yeah, I think everyone has trouble finding different types of clothing. You would think shoes would be the one area where there would be a ton of diversity, since you can be pretty creative with shoes. The rise of the Sexy Action girl in the past few years has definitely made it so tall heels are the only option at a lot of places:c.

hill are a bitch to draw right, but there harder to walk in. I dont wear them often because they really hurt and also im 5'9ft and my partner 5'6ft so i end up being way to tall when i wear them. I only wear them for jobs interviews and sometimes parties

Haha yes i don't wear my heels with my BF much cause he's only a tad taller than me. i wish it didn't matter how tall people were though!

ive never really been a fan of girls in high heels ^^; im a very practical guy, and i think its important to always have the proper footwear for whatever physical tasks show up

Hah, I have to agree with you about the whole superhero-wearing-heels thing. Personally, I love high heels; but personally, I don't go running triple midair roundhouse kicking people every day.
