I remember when I first made an account on dA, must have been around 5-7 years ago, there was a rule in the ToS against submitting "eye porn"... I've double checked, and they seem to have removed that rule now. Thank you for submitting this, honestly. I understand if people just want to look at pretty eyes all the time, I think they're pretty too (occasionally) but they bump art that took hours of effort off the front page in place of something that can be done in 5 minutes or less.
And the people that think you made this in support of eye porn rather than opposing it gave me a good laugh!
I never said that I was doing it all traditionally ...I always say that it is edited in photoshop.I really like your tutorial its really funny ,and yes its not magic and you have true its very easy... but I never said that its difficult sooo i dont know if you hate me or not.. i would want say Thank you ..when someone asks HOW? i send them your titorial
Not only is the grain obscured, the fact that one side of the page is lighter and one is darker is not present in those white parts as well, since even if it were white-out/gesso (which could be lighter than paper and not show much grain), it would still obey the over all lighting rules LOL
Seriously, that one guy going around saying IT COULD STILL BE TRADITIONAL is really trying to lie to himself for some reason xD
:'D I don't get it why though. I've painted over photos before and called them "painting over photos", and I colored over my pencil lineart and called it "mixed media". There's bound to be a bunch of people around who see through the mess anyways
