If you like this tutorial or do not like it, please take some time to tell me why so I will know how to make any future tutorials! Thanks :D:heart: And thank you for all your favs, it makes me happy that anyone could find any help from this at all, I am so sorry I cannot visit all your pages and say thanks personally as it's become far too much work for this deviation ATM. Please know i still truly appreciate all the support!

PERSPECTIVE

This is probably the only thing I might say i'm pretty good. But it not because I'm "talented", i just looked at stuff a lot. I find a lot of beginners have the same issue, where they can draw simple shapes because of a tutorial but when asked to think differently, they can't. Because we weren't told hello, "perspective" is all around us.

With modern building and manufacturing, everyone probably lives in a place full of walls, books, computers, paper, etc. so many STRAIGHT LINES you can easily manipulate and look at. Learn how to see the way perspective changes things, then learn to look around you and see the same things happen, draw it, draw it some more.

Tutorials that show diagrams for how to make things with vanishing points are helpful, but not if you can't use your brain to see WHY things happen like that. I hope this tutorial will just push you to really ENGAGE with why things are like this, that's all~

------------------------------------------------
Almost all perspective tutorials past this point are about the same so i don't have one to recommend, just keep an eye out and don't reduce your art to simple lines.
Edit: there have been some requests for vanishing point tutorials, I feel it's been done many times (and very well) so if you want to move ahead with your new found perspective(LOL PUNS) try these:
BASIC: [link] (please remember not to over rely on connecting lines, remember to observe around you!)
BASIC-INTERMEDIATE: [link]
ADVANCED:[link]

Due to demand i made a continuation of this to ease you into the above links more easily:

I cracked up so hard at the wonky cube faces.

Nice tutorial! I have a lot of problems with perspective myself. Hopefully now this will help me out. :D
